About SideTracked Caches

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website

About Armadale Station

The original station was opened in 1862 when it was part of the Bathgate and Coatbridge Railway which was then absorbed by the North British Railway and later by LNER and later still, by the Scottish Region of British Railways. Passenger services ended on 9 January 1956.

The current station was reopened on 4 March 2011 as part of the Airdrie-Bathgate Rail Link, a project created to enable an additional route to link Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Trains operate at regular intervals between Edinburgh Waverley Station and Helensburgh or Milngavie via Glasgow Queen Street Station.

Remember to take a pair of tweezers with you!

Congratulations to paulsky54 and willie80 for being joint FTF!
