A quite magical spot along the river at the end of the gorge, sit and enjoy the views.
At this point you will find yourself almost at the end of the Molonglo Gorge hiking trail. The return trip is a tough 7km hike, as the path is narrow, goes up and down and has lots of uneven terrain, which will tire you out more quickly. Plan in at least 4 hour to enjoy the gorges views, the play on the river rocks and some other caches to be found along the way.
Please make sure to replace the rocks so that neither them nor the cache fall into the abyss of the tree.
