This is #3 of a series based around Ingbirchworth Reservoir. It is a flat, circular walk of approximately 1.5 miles, aimed at children as it is based on nursery rhymes. Some are big enough to hold a small gift or trackable. The walk can be attempted in either direction. None of the caches are hidden in stone walls. All caches can be found a short distance from path – going away from the water.
Look out for various water birds; we have spotted heron, great crested grebe, coots, Canada geese, mallard and even a kittiwake. (that had got lost!)

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
A favourite idea is that in 1648 (during the English Civil War), Colchester was a Royalist town with a castle and protected by the city wall. The story was that a large cannon, called Humpty Dumpty, was strategically placed on the wall. A shot from an attacking Parliamentary cannon damaged the wall beneath Humpty Dumpty, causing the cannon to tumble to the ground. The Royalists ( "all the King's men") attempted to raise Humpty Dumpty on to another part of the wall, but the cannon was so heavy that "All the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put Humpty together again".
