This cache is placed at the Bassett Cross, a memorial to those who gave their lives in military service in World War One. Please stop and pay your respects, and reflect on the sacrifice of a previous generation.
The cache is hidden in classic style a few paces north of the memorial, please be subtle and respectful in your search and replacement. There is restricted parking in the surrounding residential roads and NONE on the main road. I have set the terrain to be suitable for wheelchair users, if you find that this is not accessible then please let me know so I can change accordingly.
