This is a nice area I like to visit. I came out here to scout out some potential cache loactions. There are a few unique spots in the area that are worth checking out. Also this area seems to be lacking in caches. Look for more in the future.
Right before we hid this cache we were hunkered down to wait out a tornado warning. Not much cell phone service out here so we could not verify where it was headed. Yikes! Once the storm passed, the sun came back out and we found this location. It's a very pretty and well maintained cemetery. Lots of tall pines lining the area, as well as oaks lining the road. It's worth checking out the information about the lane names and how they got their names.
Now down to business: The cache container is a micro with a couple logs and a pencil. YOU DO NOT NEED TO ENTER THE CEMETERY TO FIND THE CACHE.
Some important cemetery Information to be aware of: "A person is guilty of criminal trespassing if that person enters or remains in a cemetery or burial ground at any time between 1/2 hour after sunset and 1/2 hour before sunrise the following day, unless that person enters or remains during hours in which visitors are permitted to enter or remain by municipal ordinance or, in the case of a privately owned and operated cemetery, by posting. Violation of this paragraph is a Class E crime."
