Geocache Description:

LAT:

ENG:
Sometimes it seems that there is nothing interesting in the coastal waters of Latvia - only sand. However, in Kauguri we discovered our own "reef". About 400 m from the shore at a depth of 2.5-3.5 m there is a stone wall that stretches along the shore. The surface of this "reef" is only 1m under water. Reef is inhabitwd by see snails and seaweed -  a place for divers. In the vicinity of the "reef" you can also find really huge sea stones, which at lower water levels tend to be even visible above the water.
The cache is a thermos anchored ~ 0.5 m below the water level between the "reef" stones. Before opening, the thermos must be unhooked from the anchor rope and opened above the water. The thermos has a waterproof package with a logbook and a pencil.
