This Adventure Lab Bonus is a bit more challenging than most. It has been set to celebrate the YOSM Moving Virtual Cache Original Ye Ole Survey Monuments Moving Cache set by outforthehunt at various Trig Points around the UK. When the rules were changed to only allow a single log this was retired.
There is still the capability to log a visit by writing a note in a specific format at Ye Ole Survey Monuments Memorial Cache. This will increase your YOSM statistics but sadly not count as a cache find. Please note that not all Trig Points are YOSMS (787 to date). You can get the full list as well as the note format and maby other snippets of information from YOSM Resources. Completing this AL will allow you to log 6 YOSMS.
The AL requires you to visit 5 former YOSM TPs sround the Peak District and one a little further North. These are all waypointed here for convenience and I have also added parking points for each that I have used in the past (There are always other suitable starting places). The bonus is located near a newly created YOSM, within about 200 Metres.
Each location you visit will give bonus information in the form of a three letter code. When you have all 15 letters enter them into Certitude in the order of the ascending YSM numbers i.e The Roaches is first, Harry Hut last. Out will pop the final location and a hint.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
The Adventure Lab can be accessed from here Ye Ole Survey Monuments - Peak and Pennines.
Have fun.
About Ye Ole Survey Monuments
|
 |
Ye Ole Survey Monument (YOSM) is a captivating series of caches that pays homage to the remarkable legacy of OutForTheHunt's YSM series (GC45CC).
YOSM caches are strategically positioned at or near Trig Points. These triangulation stations have played a pivotal role as surveying landmarks, contributing to the mapping of expansive territories.
Some of these points, bearing historical significance, might now be situated on private land or have vanished with time. As a result, the caches are artfully placed in close proximity, reverently acknowledging the historical importance of these survey monuments.

More information, bookmarks and statistics can be found at the YOSM Website
If anybody would like to expand the Ye Ole Survey Monuments Series, please do.
I would ask that you request a number for your cache first at www.yosm.org.uk
so we can keep track of the numbers and names to avoid duplication.
