Ušće Vuke u Dunav



U samom centru Vukovara rijeka Vuka ulijeva se u Dunav. Na ušću je postavljen veliki bijeli križ u čast i spomen svima onima koji su svoj život dali za slobodnu i neovisnu Hrvatsku. Rijeka Vuka postaje sve važnija stanovnicima Vukovara jer je osim brojnih dječjih igrališta postavljenih uz njenu lijevu obalu postala bogatija i za novu pješačko-biciklističku stazu koja vodi od ušća skroz do park šume Adica.


The confluence of the Vuka and the Danube

In the very center of Vukovar, the river Vuka flows into the Danube. At the confluence, a large white cross was erected in honor and memory of all those who gave their lives for a free and independent Croatia. The river Vuka has become increasingly important to the residents of Vukovar, as, in addition to numerous children's playgrounds along its left bank, it has also gained a new pedestrian and cycling path that extends from the confluence all the way to the Adica Park Forest.
