In the summer of 2016, two long-standing Scout groups in Moncton decided to merge together: Steeves Memorial Scout Group and Mount Royal Scout Group combined forces and renamed themselves 1st Jones Lake Scout Group. This is the 4th cache in a series of hides by the youth of 1st Jones Lake Scouting.
Mill Creek Park has existed informally in Riverview for years, but in recent years Town Council has worked on formally developing the park. The youth wanted to go explore more wilderness areas in Greater Moncton, and decided a night hike to the dam would be a great adventure. Despite their best efforts, no one "accidentally" fell in the reservoir.
This cache is a 30 mL Nalgene bottle hanging in a tree not far off the trail. It should be easy to find year-round.
