Geocache Description:

Its here. Your once in a lifetime chance.

The first
Vic Cachers Weekend Getaway..
Dec 6th,7th,8th. Camp Howqua, Victoria.

This will be a great chance to meet other cachers, get some of the out-of the way caches as a group, that might be harder otherwise, beginners may be able to pick up some tips and a chance to tell your "caching story" around the fire at night.

The weekend will start on the Friday and anyone who wants to can arrive as early as wanted. I plan on being there about lunch time to open up the building.

We will be staying in an old renovated school house which can sleep up to 30 in three carpeted, heated sleeping areas with ensuites, dining/meeting area with fantastic views, kitchen, drying room and is fully self contained.

The only thing we need to take is our food!

The cost of staying for two nights would be only $28.60p/p. If you only stay one night the cost is still $28.60p/p. Just they way they do it!

The reason for this weekend away is to nab some caches in the hills in this area. Some of the nearby caches that we can get are

I'm sure we won't be able to get them all but we can make a good weekend of it. We should have an enjoyable trip and we can spend the Friday night planning our attack on the caches. It will be fairly relaxed.

Please indicate your choices about our food arrangements.
Would you prefer we bring our own or plan it so we have meals together. Being a chef, I am fine with cooking a "feast" on the sat night (as long as I have some helpers) and we could also organise "picnic" food for our lunches on the sat and sun. Breakfast should be easy to organise.

A few pics of the accomodation.

NO smoking or alcohol allowed. Smoking can be done outside the building if it is discreet.
