Welcome to First Thursdays in Columbia (FTIC)!

This is a monthly event on the first Thursday of every month in Columbia, Maryland.

We will be meeting on Thursday March 4th from 6:30-8:00PM. We will be in the same location as February's event, an area that is well lit and is adjacent to the new Merriweather District parking garage. In case the weather gets dicey this will allow us to move into the garage and stay dry! 

All attendees are expected to bring and wear a mask/face covering to protect others, and practice social distancing guidelines. If you would like to sit during the event, consider bringing a folding chair or seat.

This is a simple meet and greet for geocachers in and around Columbia, Maryland. Anyone and everyone is welcome. 

We use this event for meeting fellow cachers, planning trips, recommending caches and giving tips, to name a few... Although we’ve normally met at the food court in the Columbia Mall, because of our social distancing concerns during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve moved the location to the parking lot just south of Merriweather Post Pavilion.

If you are hungry, there is a good variety of fast food restaurants in the food court in the Mall and around the Mall for all tastes and desires.
