Geocache Description:

08 May 2021, 10:00 - 11:00

Earth day is April 22, 2021, so let's do a bit of clean up to help out our planet! Here's your chance to do some Cache In, Trash Out and clean up one of the areas that we like to cache in! The coordinates will bring you to a parking lot adjacent to a waterway which could use a helping hand! If you attend this CITO, you'll get your spring CITO souvenir on your geocaching profile. You'll also have a chance to log the locationless cache GC8NEAT and get your locationless cache icon if you don't have it already. (If you're not sure about this, I can explain at the event.)

There is a paved walkway, down to the waterway, but then it will be more of a terrain 2 down to the water. (Not far, but not handicap friendly. However, if you have mobilization issues, we can find a job for you!) I will bring trash bags, gloves, and some bottled water...and maybe some muffins for breakfast! Feel free to bring grabbers or other supplies if you have them. We will clean up the area, rain or shine! If you have the ability to recycle tires or larger items or take some of the trash to dispose of, that would be great too!

I'm planning this one a little earlier in the day because this is a cache-rich area and after the CITO, you'll have the rest of the day to grab caches in the area!
