A tribute to GEOCACHING – Kongie # 17

Kongie

PS: Der vil komme yderligere detaljer i noteform her på siden et par dage før eventen.

In english:

This eventcache is my first. It is dedicated to all the pioneers in our sport.

We have all had a taster on the benefit of this sport and I am convinced that we in the future will see a very speedy developing of this sport – all for the pleasure of fun.

To make it possible to “put a face on” all the names and aliases that have shown up the last months, I have planned this eventcache. Before we meet at a nice place in the center of Copenhagen, we have to do a little cachehunting.

It is a cache where you need logic, to be clever, pen/paper and “cachingspirit”. It is not a long distance cache, but – you need apx. a couple of hours (by foot) to do the cachehunting, and after that you decide how long the event will last.

If you come in/on some kind of vehicle you can – with advantage – park it close to the starting point. We are ending apx. 1½ mile from the starting point. If you want to bring the vehicle with you to the final post, you will have to pick it up after you “have fed the dog”. Got it???

On the way you will get to know a bit about the areas you are passing and it will make things easier if you remember what you were told earlier on the tour. Do also remember to bring a comb… And if you happend to bring a smile on the tour I am sure some locals will trade it with you. If you meet a “fellow geocacher” don’t be sure you can follow him/her, you are not going the same way, but feel free to say “hi”.

Starting point is mentioned above and you can choose your own start time, as long as it is within this period:

SATURDAY 2. NOVEMBER 2002 10AM-12NOON

If you have any questions you are welcome to mail me. According to the planning it will be a great help if you give a clue if you can come. You are welcome to do it here in the log, or you can do it via mail. But – it is possible to participate without telling me here. Just go to the starting point at start time.

See you

Kongie

PS: Additional info will be added on this site a few days before the event.
