The Victoria Area Geocachers will be gathering on May 16th from 8:30 to 9:30 to assist the ‘Keep Victoria Beautiful’ program. If you haven’t already attended a CITO since January 2021 you will get a geocaching souvenir on your profile for participating as well as a smiley. And if you haven’t claimed your locationless cache GC8NEAT this is also a great opportunity to do so.
We will be working in the area on Port Lavaca (Rt 87) from Pleasant Green Drive to Odem Street. The city will be providing trash bags and gloves and we supply the grunt work. I will have bottled water but please bring grabbers. I suggest wearing closed toe shoes and long pants as you will be walking in grass.
