May 8th, 2021 at the home of coolcamaro, 52 Kimberly Drive in Enfield, CT. Our house is across the street from 73 Kimberly Drive. Join us from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
Please join us for a socially distanced gathering of local geocachers. We will meet up at the posted coordinates, and the event will be held in our garage and in our back yard. The parking is on the street and on the front lawn. The grill will be lit and we will provide hamburgers and veggie burgers and all of the fixings. We will also provide the beverages, but you can bring your favorite beverages as well.
Special information -- this event is handicapped accessible. We will have a commode available in the garage, in a private area.
Bring your doggies too! Our backyard is secure, with a tall fence and a bunch of green grass for running around. Also we will have horseshoes and cornhole available.
This event will run rain or shine. This is another outdoor daytime event as we have been meeting during Covid.
Please read the current guidelines at https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/
If you plan to attend the event please post a "will attend" log and incude the number of people in your group. It is unlikely that we will have too many attendees based on recent CCC events however we need to be prepared to control the numbers. Please wear a mask when close to other people. A logbook will be available to sign and a meet-and-greet is planned where Travel Bugs can be exchanged. Name tags will be available.
The Central Connecticut Cacher’s Night Out is normally an evening gathering on the second Tuesday of every month (pre Covid). We love to meet those that are new or interested in this great hobby! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted. This event features new or rotating hosts every month, and changing locations. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid and Miles Stone (KD&MS). As host, you’ll arrange a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee, and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the central CT area.
