This Is a great place to look at the Mt Pleasant farm animals. Our historic chicken coop has housed chickens for over 100 years! We continue the farming tradition of Mt. Pleasant with the chickens you see today. Most of our chickens were donated by Howard County 4-H and some are rescues. Our goat pen holds two goats. Holly, the one without horns, is a Nigerian Dwarf goat. She came to the Conservancy in 2010 when she was only 3 months old. Buddy, the one with horns, is a pygmy goat. He was donated to the Conservancy in 2014 when he was 2 years old. Spend some time here and you might see one of our goats climb to the top of their lookout tower.
