Geocache Description:

Named Station "Ferris", this virtual cache is a bronze tablet cemented in bedrock. It is a first (highest) order triangulation station of the Geodetic Survey of Canada; with co-ordinates determined to a very high degree of precision. The published co-ordinates are N46-16-02.83583 W79-25-09.48450.

To confirm your visit, send me an e-mail providing the following information:

- What is the number stamped on the tablet?
- What is the elevation determined by your GPS receiver?
- What do you think the threaded steel rods are for?
