7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

Hello from the other side

I must’ve called a thousand times

To tell you I’m sorry for everything that I’ve done

But when I call, you never seem to be home      Adele

Mingbool Automatic Exchange

Automatic exchanges, which provide dial service, were invented by Almon Strowger in 1888.  First used commercially in 1892, they did not gain widespread use until the first decade of the 20th century.  They eliminated the need for human switchboard operators who completed the connections required for a telephone call.

Australia’s first automatic exchange was installed in the GPO in Sydney, in 1911, for internal use.  But the first automatic exchange for public use was opened at Geelong in Victoria in the next year – in July 1912.

In Adelaide, the first automatic suburban exchanges were installed, 22 April 1926.
