Geocaching International Film Festival 2021

We're hosting our first GIFF event in two years, and we're making it Covid Friendly.

What: Geocaching International Film Festival
Where: Charlee's Restaurant and Lounge, 185 Stadacona Street
When: 5:30 PM, Sunday, November 21, 2021

Important info:

• ALL ATTENDEES MUST PRE-REGISTER ON THIS PAGE WITH THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THEIR PARTY. This is so we can communicate the attendance numbers to Charlee's so that they can ensure they have sufficient staff on site.
• Due to Provincial Health orders, individuals attending this Event must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Individuals are expected to follow health guidelines as well as show their Vaccination Status card or QR code to the venue staff upon request.
• The event is free to attend. That said, Charlee's is giving us this space free of charge. As a small business they rely on the patronage of Winnipeggers to make their restaurant a success. Please consider ordering food.
• Attendance is restricted to the capacity limits set by the business. We should be fine based on previous GIFF attendance records. Current RSVP Attendance: 35
• Children are welcome to attend. Those over the age of 12 must show proof of vaccination.
• We will not be providing popcorn this year. Not sure how safe that'd be in the time of Covid.

COVID-19 Measures:

• If you're ill on the day, please stay home - the GIFF reel will also be available on Youtube after the festival.
• The current orders restrict restaurants and licensed facilities to admitting vaccinated people only.
• We'll be following the current orders as guidance. You can find them here
• If you're uncomfortable sharing a writing stick, please bring your own pen.
• Please no trackables

Schedule:

• 5:30 PM: Event start - sign in at the logbook, order food and/or beverages, settle in for some fun.
• 6:30 PM: Reel Starts
• 7:30 PM: Reel finishes, log trackable code for souvenir, vote for your favourite!
• 7:45 PM: Socialize, if you feel comfortable! Remember: Masks must be worn, unless consuming food or drink
• 8:30 PM: That's a Wrap!
