Love Bites- Def Leppard
Def Leppard is a British rock band that formed in 1977 and consisted of vocalist Joe Elliott, bassist Rick Savage, drummer Rick Allen and guitarists Phil Collen(who replaced Pete Willis) and Vivian Campbell. They established themselves as part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement of the early 1980s.
The song ‘Love Bites’ is a single from their highly successful 1987 rock album ‘Hysteria’. It was the only song by this British band to reach #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Charts. Def Leppard enjoyed more success in Britain and Europe.
Band member and drummer Rick Allen had one of the more amazing comeback stories in rock. After a 1984 automobile accident where he lost his left arm, Allen was able to return to the band with a custom electric drum kit where he was able to use his legs and play well enough that he did not need backup musicians.
All caches are accessible by hiking, biking or horseback (no motorized vehicles). To do this entire series requires about a 4.5 mile hike total. Since this is a desert location, please watch out for dangerous critters (snakes have been seen on several occasions along these trails). Weeds do get tall in the summer. Also watch for livestock. All containers are similar and hidden Arizona style.
