The land before you was originally purchased in 1936 by a businessman who wanted to build a wilderness hunting lodge. By 1951, the main cabin, guest house, covered bbq and manmade duck pond were built. In 1969, the District of North Vancouver acquired the area and turned it into Murdo Frazer Park. For the next 20 years, the cabin was home to the park's caretaker and since then, it's been a popular filming location.
