The cache is not located at the published coordinates but it is a good place to park. To find the cache you must solve a field puzzle. Because the puzzle is located inside the library this cache is only available during library hours.
Currently the hours are:
Monday – Wednesday 10:00AM – 8PM
Thursday – Friday 10AM – 5PM
Saturday- Sunday 10AM – 3PM
In order to find the cache, you need to enter the library and find the large mosaic on wall close to the entrance of the library.
Now comes the hard part…do you remember Cartesian coordinates? If not you might want to check out the 512 series in the non-fiction section of the library. But if you’re the type of geocacher who never really reads the cache page until you get to the cache, you can probably just wing it.
So pretend this mosaic represents only the positive portion of the plane between the x and y axes (commonly called the first quadrant). So that would mean that the lower left corner mosaic would be (0,0). Below is a picture of the tile in the (0,0) position.
In the Cartesian coordinate system that would mean that the left-hand column is column zero (x=0) and the bottom row is row zero (y=0). Though this mosaic is actually three dimensional for this puzzle consider it two dimensional. In two dimensional Cartesian coordinate systems points in the plane are expressed as (x,y) where the x-axis is horizontal and numbers go up left to right. The y-axis is vertical and numbers go up from bottom to the top. So in this case the columns are x values since they go up from left to right and the rows are the y values because they go up from the bottom to the top. That means the tile directly above (0,0) is (0,1); the one to its right is (1,0); and the one at its upper right corner is (1,1). Below shows how the tiles in the lower lefthand corner are numbered, from there you can figure out how all the other tiles are numbered.

Got it? Good.
OK, now the puzzle. All you have to do is find the tiles located in the following grid coordinates:
(7,16) (14,17) (12,17) (8,10) (0,3)
What animals did you find at each spot? Now all you have to do is enter them in Certitude below. Enter each animal in the order of the coordinates above with a forward slash between them. For example if you find a flea, a booby, a fox, an ape, and a parrot; you would enter flea/booby/fox/ape/parrot into Certitude. If you enter the correct answer, Certitude will tell you where you the location of the cache.
Good Luck!
