This is the ninth cache in a series based on our family’s love of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book series, and is a tribute to Demeter, Goddess of the harvest, grain and fertility, and nagging mother-in-law to Hades.
In her spare time in the Underworld, she began a new hobby of writing How-To books for the mortals up above. By a stroke of luck, the Oakton Public Library has managed to get a hold of a copy of “Geocaching with Demeter” which now sits somewhere among the stacks.
You cannot check the book out, but if you are lucky enough to study it there, you can sign the log. The trick is finding it, since the title isn’t listed in the common computer card catalog. Even Daedlaus’ laptop couldn’t find this one.
To find the location of the book, look behind the symbol of Demeter located at the posted coordinates.
