Geocache Description:

02 June 2022, 18:30 - 20:00

Welcome to First Thursdays in Columbia (FTIC)!

This is a monthly event on the first Thursday of every month in Columbia, Maryland. Everyone is welcome! We've been sharing caching stories together at this event since June 2017. This particular event marks 5 continuous years of FTIC (with the exception of a month or two in 2020)!

We use this event to meet fellow cachers, plan trips, recommend caches, give tips, and just enjoy each other's company. This month, we will be meeting on Thursday, June 2nd from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.

We will be in a little outdoor seating area next to a couple of office buildings near the corner of Broken Land Parkway & Little Patuxent Parkway. There is plenty of parking close by, either in the mall lot or an adjacent parking garage. The parking garage nearby will be used in case of inclement weather.

There are a number of outdoor benches to sit on in the gathering area, but you may want to bring a chair. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

If you are hungry, there is a good variety of fast food restaurants in the food court in the Mall and around the Mall for all tastes and desires.

IMPORTANT: Attendees should follow all current guidelines regarding mask/face coverings to protect others, and practice social distancing guidelines. Let's be respectful and help keep each other feeling comfortable and safe. Please check the current COVID situation in Howard County before attending, as things have been changing rapidly recently.

Hope to see you there!

See you at...FTIC!
