Attending a Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) event is a great way to meet new geocaching friends and to help give back to the areas where we play. The City of Seattle provides the supplies, and we supply the people power.
This month's event:
- Date/Time: Thursday, June 23, 5:30-7:00pm
- Location: Columbia City neighborhood, next to Interagency Academy
- Public transit option: Columbia City Light Rail station is 0.3 mile walk
- Parking: Parking on neighborhood streets, or possibly in school parking lot
- Thanks: Thanks to Ell522 for recommendating this location, and inspiring others to CITO via Light Rail!
As before, I will bring all the supplies needed - bags, gloves, litter grabbers, and safety vests. Please log your "Will Attend" so I bring enough supplies. I look forward to seeing everyone.
As most of my regular CITO participants know, I try to host a CITO Event every month. If you attend one of my CITOs, then you can recommend the next location for cleanup!
Also, if you haven't received one of my Frau Potter Lackey tags, please ask. Each CITO participant gets one.
This event is possible because of the City of Seattle's Adopt-a-Street program. But it's powered by geocachers.
Event occurs, rain or shine, or even snow! This is Seattle after all!
