CITO @ The Bash ‘22 Cache In Trash Out Event

Kick off your 2022 Cache Bash weekend by giving back to the community who is hosting their 14th Annual Geocaching Mega Event! This event will be rain or shine, and in knowing that many begin lining up at Regner well before the noon check in, we thought to host this CITO early enough to not impose on other activities going on same day.

• Location: Riverside Park, West Bend WI
• Date and Time: Friday, August 5th 2022 8:30-9:30am local CST
  • 8:30am CST: Please gather at the posted coords to sign the log and retreive your trashbag. Once complete you are free to roam this pretty expansive park.
  • 9:20 CST: Please gather back at our meeting location to snap a group photo with the collected trash, before we dispose of it in the nearby bins. 
  • Late arrivals: If you arrive after the group has dispursed simply sign in, grab a trashbag, and meet us out in the field! 
• Parking: This year we opted for a location with much more parking than in 2021. If the lot is full, street side parking is allowed along E Kilbourn Avenue. Please do not block resident driveways.
• What will be provided: A trashbag and hand sanitizer for all. We will also bring a small selection of snacks and a case of water to be handed out first come first serve. Please plan to eat prior and bring a drink if needed, as the head count of last years event reached 111 attendees, and there of course won't be enough for everyone.
• What to bring: Something to pick up the trash (grabbers, gloves etc), bugspray, sunscreen, and water.
• Park Rules: While we will be there from 8:30-9:30 local CST, the park is open from 8a-11pm.

GREAT NEWS: Two caches will release around 8:30 AM for this year's CITO! See the additional waypoints to navigate to both caches.
