Geocache Description:

One of the interesting facets of the game is the introduction of folks to geographic areas, terrain features and historic sites they may never have seen.

This virtual cache is located in a building familiar to many of us. The building could be described as the comforting heart and soul of Bend and provides a learning resource to many inquiring minds. The coordinates will take you to the entrance where there is ample parking. Upon entering the building turn to your left, go 40 paces and find a single piece of burled maple from Brownsville, Oregon.

Please e-mail us with the title of the artwork and the name of the artist who created it.

As has been suggested, continue on a few more paces and have a free cup of coffee.
