The Tri-City Dog Park Society was founded in 2005 to promote, establish, and maintain off-leash dog parks in our community. We worked with the City of Richland to open a 1⁄2-acre temporary dog park located at Badger Mountain Community Park.
Paws-abilities Place, the first 2.5 acres of the permanent dog park, opened in October 2011. In July 2017, the park doubled in size and today we have 5 full acres for our dogs to run and play! We proudly adopted the park in November 2017 & continue to work with the City of Richland to maintain and improve the park as needed. (Information taken from Tri City Dog Park Society Website)
