After finding 97 geocaches we figured it was time to place a cache of our own. This is just a short hike down the road to a cute little dam you can see after you finish the cache. Take your time, enjoy the view, and have fun!
Since there is a lot of tree cover, the coordinates are a bit jumpy but don't give up.
Parking is a gravel pull-off just after or before the bridge, depending on which way you approach the chance location. DO NOT PARK IN THE DRIVEWAY. There are two ways you can get to this cache. There is a trail down to the river on both sides of the road. The easiest route is across the street, where you will see a path to the left to the river. Alternatively, you can find a path from the parking pull-off., but it is steep.
