G4 (Gaithersburg Germantown Geocaching Gathering)
Come discuss methods of making a creative and enjoyable geocaches and share your favorite local (or not local) caches.
Topics we will cover include:
- What types of cache contiainers are durable and weather resistant here in MD (and which are not)?
- What are good options for log sheets?
- What makes for a "quality" cache?
- What is a "creative" or "gadget" cache?
- What are some resources for ideas for a creative/gadget caches?
- What are considerations when submitting (location, permission, guidelines)?
There will be at least one, and likely more, gadget caches to try out and the chance to win some trackable items and even a ready-to-go creative/gadget cache!
This is an official Maker Magic event. Geocachers who log “Attended” on this Event will receive the official Maker Magic souvenir.
