Welcome to NoVAGO Moviepalooza: National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets a/k/a "The Greatest Geocaching Movie of All-Time." The film's heroes solve a cipher, travel from place to place following clues, solve riddles, find hidden objects and ultimately the Book of Secrets.
SEPTEMBER 25, 2024 IMPORTANT NOTE: To all previous finders, thank you so much for embarking on this journey and finding the Book of Secrets. To future finders: there is no longer a Stage Two. Simply solve the Playfair Cipher at the posted coordinates and the location of the Book of Secrets will be revealed. Cipher below has changed but Final location remains the same and is a short drive away.
STAGE ONE
- Visit the grounds of Stage One, The George Washington Masonic National Memorial and a actual honest-to-goodness filming location of NT2:BoS! (Please observe posted hours and no night caching.);
- Solve the below Playfair Cipher which will reveal the LOCATION OF THE BOOK OF SECRETS!!!
- The keyword can be found on a Memorial bench near parking coordinates. Find the bench that lists the two cities where the Resolute desks reside. The name of the lodge (which is also the name root of a third city) is the keyword.
