How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Stash: 1 Gallon metal paint can(since upgraded to an ammo can) - please make sure the lid is on securely when you leave it. Push it down strongly if you have to.

Difficulty: 2 There are many walking and old carriage trails in the area that should make it easy to approach the cache.

Terrain: 2 On a slight hill, may be a little slippery in certain weather or seasons.

This cache is on public land so you should be able to get to it without much of a problem. It is partially buried and surrounded by rocks, so you won't be able to see it from the side but the metal lid should be visible from a relatively close distance. It contains some goodies: a freeze-dried ice cream bar from G32-1 and various and sundry other knick-knacks that may be of interest.

Hope you enjoy looking for it- Please leave it well hidden and don't forget to leave a note on the pad (pens are included). Thank you.

(Added Feb '01) A story about this cache in the local paper (by Cathey O'Donnell).
