We are on holiday in Egypt and would like to take this opportunity to meet and greet local geocachers and other travellers, who are interested in meeting up chat about our hobby, share/exchange experiences and trackables. We meet at the wonderful Abu Dabbab beach.

Abu Dabbab beach is a nature reserve located in north Marsa Alam on the Red Sea and is well known as the Turtles Beach. With its appealing blue waters, white sandy shore, and house reef became the perfect place for those who are looking to spend perfect holiday time with their beloved ones, while taking part in a wide range of fun-filled activities.
On the sandy beach, you’ll find a nice selection of food & beverage outlets and a range of oriental tents and bazaars. You can enjoy the beach and the sea daily from 08:00 till midnight. The beach is decked out with cabanas, deck chairs and bean bags for shelter, privacy and comfort. The beach also provides space for different kinds of ball games, entertainment and group sessions.

At Abu Dabbab Bay, you will find two stunning house reefs. The south and the northern reefs, separated by grassy meadows, refreshing find for snorkelers and divers. The flourishing fauna and marine life are visible from the beach. Abu Dabbab is synonymous to a profusion of colourful fish and amazing bouquets of soft and hard corals.
