Directions:
The cache (Accuracy 10 m Elevation 663 m) is hidden in a 3 litre translucent rectangular snap-lock container within low scrub, about 100 m north-west of the summit of Mount Cargill (S 45°48.783' E 170°33.218' Elevation 682 m). See the hints for more detail.
To get there you have three options (in increasing order of difficulty):
1. Follow either Patmos Avenue or Pine Hill Road to Cowan Road, proceed up Cowan Road to Mount Cargill. You may park in either the upper (small; S 45°48.798 E 170°33.250 Elevation 674 m) or lower (large; S 45°48.725' E 170°33.056' Elevation 633 m) car parks.
2. Follow North Road until it changes into Mount Cargill Road, now continue for about 2.4 km past where it meets Upper Junction Road. Look out for the sign indicating the location of the car park for the Organ Pipes track. Follow the track (sometimes muddy) for about 1 hour to reach Mount Cargill (a climb of 300 m).
3. Proceed up Norwood and then Cluny streets to Bethunes Gully. Follow the gravel track for about 2 hours and 30 minutes (a climb of about 600 m).
Free Hint: It is easiest to get to the cache by following the vehicle track from the upper car park.
