A new GeoTour will be available for you to complete, but with hundreds of caches in the county, 1 day might not be enough!

Welcome to Marion County: the Middle of Everywhere! Home to the first Father's Day, the pepperoni roll, and 2 state parks, this region is booming with a vibrant community and rich culture. Fuel up with a pancake breakfast and join us for a day of fun in the friendly city as you complete the new Middle of Everywhere GeoTour.
Parking. Parking is available in the large gravel lot adjacent to the event location for VIP members and in surrounding paved lots for general parking. Please exercise caution while walking to the event from the surrounding lots as there could be increased traffic.
Sign the Log! We're so glad you're here! Look for our large event banner near the entrance to the shelter to sign your name.
Pancake Breakfast. Hosted by the Mountaineer Area Council Order of the Arrow, enjoy a homemade pancake breakfast served with coffee. Plates are $5 each and all proceeds benefit the local scouting organization.
Wave Pool. East Marion Park is home to the area's only wave pool, and offers a unique waterslide and the chance to "ride the waves". After the event, cool off with fun for the whole family!
🚙 About The Middle of Everywhere GeoTour
Launching on May 3, 2025, the Middle of Everywhere GeoTour will take adventure seekers on an interactive tour of Marion County, West Virginia, and highlight the historical, cultural, and recreational opportunities the region has to offer. Located in the heart of Appalachia, this 25-geocache tour will take people to the businesses, parks, monuments, and artwork that make this area unique. Those who find 20 / 25 Geocaches will be eligible for a limited-edition coin, trackable on Geocaching.com; complete all 25 to earn a unique souvenir.
