Hopewell Recreation Park is a place where I love to go to. There are many fun things to do in the park. There are little hiking trails, tennis courts, baseball fields, and an amazing creek which you should visit. You can catch crayfish or if you are lucky a fish, skip rocks, and find a cache here! You will have to cross the creek to get to the cache, Fishkill creek to be exact, (which translates to "Fish Creek Creek"). You will want to guide yourself by heading to the big boulder on the other side of the creek. You are looking for a camouflaged metal cookie box. Good luck and have fun!
WARNING!!!
You will have to cross the creek to get to the cache, expect to get wet. The rocks are slippery most of the time so if you are using them to cross just be careful, as I slipped and fell trying to get to the hiding spot. You probably will not come across dangerous animals, they are rare, but still be on the look out, as I have seen water snakes in the creek before.
