Willkommen zur ersten inoffiziellen niederösterreichischen Geocaching-Universität (NÖGCU)!
Im Rahmen dieser Cache-Reihe dürft ihr eure Kenntnisse unter Beweis stellen und euch mit Meriten basierend auf euren Erfolgen schmücken.
Jeder Cache der Reihe bringt euch bestimmte Themen und Kenntnisse näher, die euch im Rahmen eurer Geocaching-Karriere begegnen werden. Dabei sollen Wissensgebiete und praktische Fähigkeiten im Rahmen projektübergreifender Arbeiten verknüpft werden, um euch eine größtmögliche Transfermöglichkeit auf andere Lebensbereiche zu ermöglichen.
Aktuell ist die Reihe noch in Planung. Solltet ihr Zweifel an eurem Gedächtnis oder euren Fähigkeiten haben, hebt euch auf jeden Fall die Ergebnisse eurer Prüfungen auf, ihr könntet sie zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erneut benötigen.

Fragen an die Lehrkräfte sind natürlich erlaubt und werden möglichst zeitnah beantwortet. Es wird jedoch erwartet, dass ihr euch mit den gestellten Aufgaben beschäftigt habt, eine simple Frage nach der richtigen Antwort wird nicht reichen, um in der NÖGCU zu reüssieren.

Die Geografie dürfte für alle Geocachenden im weitesten Sinne zum Interessensgebiet gehören, die Direktion erwartet sich daher Bestleistungen in diesem Fachbereich.
Die Prüfung im Fachbereich Geografie beschäftigt sich mit folgenden Themen:

1. Anwendung von Recherchefähigkeiten
Interessante Fakten aus europäischen Hauptstädten (gesucht ist jeweils die deutschsprachige Schreibweise siehe Wikipedia):
1. Das Wahrzeichen dieser europäischen Hauptstadt ist ein:e fiktiv:er Meeresbewohner:in, deren Statue im Hafen viel kleiner ist, als sie auf den Fotos aussieht.

1. The town's landmark is a fictive sea creature. Its statue in the harbour of the town is much smaller in reality than it looks on the pictures.
