Geocache Description:

This deceptive geocache is owned and maintained by Lake Metigoshe State Park. Entrance fees apply in the amount of $7/vehicle/day or $35 for a single annual pass or $55 family pass for two annual passes going to those within the same household. Entrance fees can be paid at the entrance station via staff or self-registration, online at or at the main office during business hours. Parking can be found near the Cub Loop Trailhead.

The trails in this area are named for the Boy Scouts of America (Scout Loop, Eagle Loop, Tenderfoot, Cub Loop) as this area was once owned by them. In the 1990s Lake Metigoshe State Park purchased the land, creating trails and rental cabins in the area for park visitors to further enjoy the area.
