- ~01:00 pm - Reverse Wherigo publishes.
- ~01:15 pm - Olympiad games open.

Fishing Tournament:
Approximately 10 new official geocaches will publish at 9 AM. EVERY participant/team must have a unique geocaching account and must enter the tournament at the registration table by 10:00 AM to receive a passport (Registration begins at 8 AM and registering early will ensure the best opportunity to attain fish from all caches.) You will have 2 1/2 hours to visit as many of those caches as possible. Each cache will contain envelopes with fish of varying weights. Take ONE envelope, log the cache, and stamp your passport as proof of being at the location. DO NOT OPEN YOUR ENVELOPES! Return to the event site no later than 11:30 am. Returning after 11:30 am will result in the loss of one fish for each 5 minutes late. Any open or partially open envelope will be disqualified. The volunteers working the weigh-in will open your envelopes and "weigh" your fish. Your largest five fish will count toward your total. Prizes will be awarded to the three greatest weight totals. Ties will be broken by the next largest fish of the tied anglers.
Lunch:
A potluck lunch will begin at approximately noon. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. Please reference in your "will attend" log if you are participating in the luncheon by bringing something and what it will be. Please note the number of anticipated attendees and other contributions when considering your own contribution. The item list and attendee count will be updated as often as possible.
Reverse Wherigo:
Rekindle your familiarity or learn how to use your favorite Wherigo app or GPSr as a new reverse Wherigo will publish at approximately 1 pm. The final location will be close enough to the event for completion in 30 minutes or less.
Olympiad:
Various contests will be held with specific games still being determined but may include these as well as others:
- Ammo Can Toss
- Film Pod Toss
- Russian nesting container challenge
- GPSr (in)accuracy test
- Geocaching Trivia
The games list will be updated as it solidifies.
Raffle:
There will be a prize raffle with the opportunity to purchase tickets for premium prizes in addition to tournament, Olympiad, and door prizes.
Awards and Prizes:
Trackable TVG medallions will be presented to the top three finishers in the fishing tournament. Prizes will be awarded for each game in the Olympiad, as well as gold, silver, and bronze medallions for the overall Olympiad champions. Door prize drawings for trackable items and other cool geocaching swag (geocoins, travel bugs, containers, TOTTS, etc) will be conducted for everyone who attends and is present at the end of the event. Premium prizes will be awarded by random draw from raffle ticket purchases.
It is August and HOT; bring plenty of water, bug spray, sunscreen, and hats. We all need to stay safe. This will be under a covered pavilion, so the event will take place rain or shine. Feel free to hang out and cheer for your favorite angler if you would rather not go fishing. You may get recruited to help, though.
If you desire to do any real fishing, there is a fishing pier at the event location.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning and effort to create and place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, the journey, or location, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or "copy and paste" logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
Travel Bug Etiquette: Cachers pay good money for Travel Bugs and Geocoins. If you take a TB or GC from a cache will you PLEASE ensure it is correctly logged in and out. If you take one that still shows it is somewhere else, please be patient before "grabbing" the item; it does not get its mileage by being grabbed before the last person to drop it has had time to log their placement. This is particularly important on busy and new caches. If you have an issue with a bug or coin, please e-mail or message the owner through their profile and advise them of the issue; they will be pleased to hear from you.
