It's International Geocaching Day - one of the busiest caching days of the year and this year you just have the one day to earn that all-important souvenir. But even the hardiest of cachers needs a brunch-break. Join us at the Grafam Water visitors' centre for a brief pit-stop before returning to the task in hand - finding caches! There will be the usual chance for geo-chat, TB sharing and tales of the trail.
The reservoir is well worth exploring, either by bike or on foot and there's a nice set of ALs nearby, as well as a good selection of other local caches (including nearby Buckden - see photo). There are some all-important loos and the visitors' centre has a spacious and reasonably priced cafe (or you can bring a picnic). If it's fine, we'll be by the tables outside, if not, we'll retreat indoors. We do have to warn you that there is a charge for parking on site.
'Meet and Greet' from 11.00am to 12.00pm on Saturday 17th August.
