The Bench of Despair Traditional Cache

I ran the Last Annual Vol State 500km (314 mile) road race last week (July 2024).  I celebrated my 60th birthday on day #6 of the race....and I hid this cache at this race spot (background image is my finish "line" shot). Until the yearly fresh paint is added, you can see my three signatures on the bench (Alan with the Oakland Raiders' emblem, Alan Geraldi 2024, our caching name "caccbag" and caccbag in its entireity "Cori Alan Connor Christopher Brandon Aidan Gabriella".   



The Bench of Despair is a "landmark" for LAVS runners.  It is also the title of a book by such a runner.


Local cacher YJJOHNSTON has agreed to supply local help in maintaining this cache in between my Tennessee trips (which I try to make often).  No writing utensil provided (sorry) but cache is large enough for small and lightweight schwag and trackable(s).
