We are working under the guidance of the Parks Communities Officer | Parks Branch of the Logan City Council, who do a magnificent job in restoring natural habitats to their natural state. This is a geocachers only event.
Today is the first of two days we will spend here, at Spring Mountain in the far-north-west of the Logan Cith Council area.
They have allocated space for tubestock wetland planting. All holes will be pre-dug and equipment provided.
You, as a participant, will need to wear sun-safe clothing, bring adequate drinking water (minimum 1 litre as it can be hot there), wear fully enclosed shoes and bring a pair of gardening gloves.
All current QLD Health COVID restrictions will be met for the event.
In the map above, you can clearly see the parking area. This is where we will meet before heading up to the actual CITO area shown in blue at the top of the map. Look for me (hatzofff) and the Geocaching Banner in the car park.
A reasonably early start at 8.00 am to avoid the heat of the day. Conclusion time is 9.30am.
There are quite a few geocaches in the area to extend your geocaching activity for the day should you so desire.
