Let's celebrate 25 years of Geocaching
Geocaching began in May 2000 when the U.S. government removed Selective Availability, which had limited the accuracy of civilian GPS receivers. This improved GPS accuracy allowed for more precise container placement and location, inspiring the creation of "GPS stashes" or geocaches.

Geocaching is celebrating 25 years.
