Geocache Description:

Let's celebrate 25 years of Geocaching

Geocaching began in May 2000 when the U.S. government removed Selective Availability, which had limited the accuracy of civilian GPS receivers. This improved GPS accuracy allowed for more precise container placement and location, inspiring the creation of "GPS stashes" or geocaches.

Geocaching is celebrating 25 years.

Join The Drovers at Glenfield Community hall, for a sausage sizzle, games & prizes.

  • Games will be supplied – challenge your friends or other teams.
  • Sausage sizzle – cooking from 6:30 to 7pm only.  BYO drinks.
  • FTF draw.
  • Prize of an un-activated ’25 years of Geocaching’ geocoin drawn at 7:30.

  • Also drawn at 7:30 – 2 minor prizes to be won.

You must be there to claim each prize in person, or there will be a re-draw.

Please state in your 'will attend' log, how many people in your group are attending for catering purposes.

Where:

8 Tanda Place, Glenfield Park (just around the corner from Glenfield Aldi).

Time:
