This cache is located just above the historic “Forno da Cal” building, which is considered an important cultural heritage site in Madeira. The lime kiln, as the building is called in German, was used to produce lime in past centuries and bears witness to the region's long tradition of craftsmanship.

The cache is strategically located slightly above the historic building and is easily accessible from several sides:
- Coming via the promenade “Praia Formosa”: Follow the promenade parallel to the street “Estrada Joao Goncalves Zarco” to the outdoor pool. Then turn right up the stairs “Camara da Trincheira” until you reach the intersection with “Rue Padre Pita Ferreira”. There you will find a small park with a wonderful view.
- From Camara de Lobos harbor: Walk up the stairs or Estrada Joao Goncalves Zarco to the intersection with Rue Padre Pita Ferreira. There you will find a small park with a wonderful view.
- A special feature of the area is the direct connection to the Praia Formosa promenade, which can take you all the way to Funchal - an ideal starting or finishing point for walks along the coast.

Dieser Cache befindet sich etwas oberhalb des historischen Gebäudes "Forno da Cal", das als bedeutendes Kulturerbe von Madeira gilt. Der Kalkofen, wie das Gebäude auf Deutsch genannt wird, diente in vergangenen Jahrhunderten der Produktion von Kalk und zeugt von der langen handwerklichen Tradition der Region.
So findest du den Cache
Der Cache liegt strategisch günstig etwas oberhalb des historischen Gebäudes und ist von mehreren Seiten gut erreichbar:
- Über die Promenade "Praia Formosa" kommend: Folge der Promenade parallel zur Straße "Estrada Joao Goncalves Zarco" bis zurm Outddor-Pool. Dann wende dich nach rechts die Stiegen "Camara da Trincheira" hoch bis vor die Kreuzung mit der "Rue Padre Pita Ferreira". Dort findest du eine kleine Parkanlage mit herrlichem Ausblick.
- Vom Hafen Camara de Lobos: Gehe die Treppen oder die Estrada Joao Goncalves Zarco hoch bis zur Kreuzung mit der Rue Padre Pita Ferreira. Dort findest du eine kleine Parkanlage mit herrlichem Ausblick.
- Eine Besonderheit der Umgebung ist die direkte Anbindung an die Promenade Praia Formosa, die dich bis nach Funchal führen kann – ein idealer Start- oder Zielpunkt für Spaziergänge entlang der Küste.

Esta cache está localizada mesmo por cima do edifício histórico “Forno da Cal”, considerado um importante património cultural da Madeira. O forno da cal, como o edifício é chamado em alemão, foi utilizado para produzir cal nos séculos passados e testemunha a longa tradição de artesanato da região.
Como encontrar a cache
A cache está estrategicamente localizada um pouco acima do edifício histórico e é facilmente acessível de vários lados
- Vindo pelo passeio marítimo da Praia Formosa: Seguir o passeio marítimo paralelo à Estrada João Gonçalves Zarco até à piscina exterior. Depois, vire à direita, subindo a escadaria da Câmara da Trincheira até ao cruzamento com a Rua Padre Pita Ferreira. Aí encontrará um pequeno parque com uma vista maravilhosa.
- Do porto de Câmara de Lobos: Subir a escadaria ou a Estrada João Gonçalves Zarco até ao cruzamento com a Rua Padre Pita Ferreira. Aí encontrará um pequeno parque com uma vista maravilhosa.
