CITO Event in Dakhla: Together for a Clean Beach
At the picturesque beach of Dakhla, where the waves of the Atlantic meet the vast sand dunes of the Sahara, a special Geocaching event is taking place: a CITO (Cache In Trash Out). This event combines the passion for Geocaching with a commitment to environmental conservation.
What is a CITO?
CITO events are an initiative by the Geocaching community to protect and preserve nature. Geocachers come together to collect trash, remove invasive plants, or carry out other eco-friendly projects.
The Event in Dakhla
Dakhla’s beach is renowned for its breathtaking nature and its importance as a sanctuary for rare wildlife. However, like many popular spots, this coastal area suffers from the effects of pollution. During the CITO event, we aim to contribute to keeping this unique location clean and beautiful.
Why Join?
In addition to the joy of Geocaching, this event offers a chance to actively protect the environment, meet new people, and fully appreciate the beauty of Dakhla. Every bag of trash collected helps preserve nature for future generations.
