14th April - Easter Hedge care at Horsbere
09:30am - 12:30pm
The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Parking is available at the main entrance to Horsbere Reserve (see waypoint Parking area / Meet-up space).
Where: Meet up 09:30 by the main gates to Horsbere Reserve where we will collect tools and make our way to the mound hedge - headline coordinates.
What: Join us as we give some much-needed care to the young trees of the hedgerow. This will include removing brambles, removing tree guards and generally looking after the trees and giving them mulch. This will ensure the hedgerow becomes established.

How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring work gloves if possible and if you wish to use your own tools (loppers, shears and hammer) then do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply.
Please also think about bringing a drink/snack for breaktime.
