Whole Earth Globes
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Find a large whole earth globe displayed in a public place and log it here!
The object of this virtual cache is to find and log an instance of large whole earth globes that exist in public places. Qualifying objects should be 1) accessible to the public, 2) three dimensional, 3) depict the continental land masses in some way, and 4) be permanent fixtures (ie don’t bring your kids globe to the park for the afternoon).
The assignment is to find a large globe and log it here according to the following rules: You log should include a photo of the object with your GPS somewhere in the photo), the coordinates of the globe, and any other stories, background information, etc.
The idea for this came from a recent downtown hotel stay near N 39 57.171, W 75 09.592. Unfortunately, this particular globe has been logged already, so you will need to find another one!
The standard rules apply. Take new pictures for this cache (no recycled vacation photos), a globe may only be logged once, and each geocacher may only log this cache one time.
