The MD Block Party is coming and today is Picky's special day, so - let's play Picky's geo-lingo birthday game!
It's a month out from the big event in MD (only Picky's second Block Party; Picky's third big event including GWXXI); wanted to warm up the caching muscles (brain?) with geo-buddies with some *unofficial* anticipatory events the week of *8*/20... Come to as many as you like/are available for. There will be small door prizes :)
Today, Wednesday *morning* 8/20, swing by Old Town Coffee in Herndon to play the geo-lingo birthday card game Picky's kid generated from a word list. No other day would make more sense :) Beta version rules, using feedback from the test run at a recent event.
Pop by or stay for the whole thing.
You can bring trackables to share but that isn't the main focus.
Kids, SOs, friends, family, visitors, travelers, new cachers, and caching-curious muggle buddies are all welcome. Don't know us yet? You will soon enough.
Tea, coffee, and light food are available right here but no purchase required. $ icon is just there as a reminder that there's an option. You are welcome to attend whether or not you buy anything. Please don't BYO since we we're in an establishment that sells these things.

It's a shared space with Moo Thru ice cream, which unfortunately doesn't open until noon, so come in through the coffee-shop entrance.
Park in front or on the side. There's a ramp on the side of the building.
As usual, please don't attend if you have or have recently been exposed to COVID or the flu, etc., or if you're feeling sick in general. We'd rather see you when you're feeling well.
