Cache is near a trailhead to a small trail in the heart of Weaverville. There was another cache nearby, but it was archived so I decided to hide one in the same area. I'd have preferred a larger container, but couldn't find a suitable location that didn't bump into other caches or might cause issues with the Town.
So you're looking for a micro. No need to scramble up/down the hillside, use the stairs. You can find with one foot on the trail unless you're shorter, then you'll be just off the trail to grab the cache. Watch out for walkers. When there is an event at the nearby park, it will be very difficult to get the cache without being observed and maybe questioned.
Parking at the top of the stairs can be full on weekend evenings, but it's near 3 brewpubs and a few surprisingly good restaurants.
