We hope you find the walk around the res as nice as we do. We thought it was a shame there is no physical caches in this area as it is a nice walk with even, well maintained paths that are suitable for all. We often come here to enjoy the surroundings and the wildlife and to enjoy a gentle walk around the perimeter of the reservoir which is approximately 2 km long. We named the cache because I walk but my wife uses a mobilty scooter so she rolls. There is always plenty of people around enjoying the surroundings so stealth may be required at times, especially near this cache and Mill Adventure Base which is on the same site. The area is popular with families, runners and cyclists. None of our caches are placed near the waters edge or near any nesting areas so there is no need to disturb any wildlife.Â

There is pay and display parking at the reservoir. The first hour is free but you do need to obtain a ticket for this from the machine, charges apply after the first hour.
